Thank you to all of you that donated, you exceeded my goal! And for you I rode a bit more. The first day of the ride there were two options, 75mi and 100mi. Initially I had intended to ride only 75 but felt I owed all my donors a bit more so I threw out the towel and did the 100! There were 1700 riders and of those I was one of 5 that did both days on a fixed gear!
P.S. Thanks Carl for the hand tightened bolts on my front wheel. It only took me 12 miles to figure out my front wheel wasn’t on tight, yea that could have ended badly.
This is our awesome team jersey from EWR, we got lots of comments on this wool jersey in the 85 degree heat. I assure you it was cool and didn’t hold the stink as other jerseys. More pictures will follow soon.
Day 1: 7:15 AM – 3:15 PM (100 mi)
Day 2: 6:30 AM – 1:30 PM (77 mi)

A freak accident for the canary, this bird got caught in Jason’s sprocket.
